How Many of Them Do You Know About?

after flipper's thread about the wt child abuse cases, i started to think about how many children i know of personally who have been sexually abused by a jw!.

as someone who is not especially 'in the know', it's amazing that i do know five of them.

one who was a small baby, at the time!.

I know of three sisters abused by JW Elders (still serving) when they were children. In one case her brother (now an elder) was also involved.

I also became privy to a case where an MS masturbated in front of 13 yr old in the cong and was privately reproved

I had a non-JW who worked for me, who's XJW wife had all 4 of her children abused by an Elder (still serving)

That makes 8

They caught me house-sitting in Houston this morning

i went outside and to the car this morning for some items and saw some walkers (very slow walkers) approaching, in pairs, a few homes away.

i knew i had a little time to think.

when the doorbell rang i was ready.. we've got a few more days here in houston, just north of braes bayou and near stella link rd.

Bringing a fart machine to meeting

they say the average person will own about 25 cars in their life time.. from 1982 to 1988 i owned a 1971 dodge challenger convertible.

it had a 340 with a 4 speed stick.

i loved that car.. i didnt cry when my wife left me....i did cry when that car drove out of my life!.

I bought this '75 Mk1 Esky from a farmer who had seized the crank (no oil) with it's original metallic green paint, as my 16 yr old sons first car. We restored it top to bottom. He's now 23 and the car is long gone . . . but it left us with great memories. He's owned two Mk 2's since.

There are plenty of threads here on how best to 'plant doubts' when visited by JW's . . . usually it's best to stick to a single topic (as Fatfreak did). It's not too difficult for XJW's to do this . . . after all they've done all the walking.

If we are holding on to bitterness and resentment so as to neglect the opportunity . . . we are well wide of the mark IMO . . . and have some ways to go.

hi im part of a group of ex jh,s, we meet for drinks and dinner, go to football games.many of the guys do drugs,(i dont, i like sport) , most live very hedonistic lifestyles, lets leave it at that,(im happily married).

my point is, when i left, i was honest, and got df,d.

now im experiencing the same kind of shit that i experieced in the hall, the ex jw,s are just as judgemental, and stupid as when they were at the kingdom hall, for eg you were df,d we were not,it doesnt matter to them, that their doing coke and getting into group sex.

I became inactive chiefly because of illness . . . and was left alone from day one.

It prompted me to re-evaluate, and my family and I concluded it was a cult and we weren't going back.

Since then I have eagerly awaited contact for my "sins" . . . in WT eyes being a rabid apostate. I even posted a thread here asking how I could invite attention. The best idea I got was to stand outside the KH with a sign saying "Millions Now Living Will Never Get Laid" . . . not my style.

So all I got of value was a spanking from Mr Flipper.

I finally had to conclude (as many posters pointed out) . . . that in spite of 25 years in the cult . . . they don't give enough of a shit about me to even DF me.

I am in no doubt that is the same reason your "friends" are enjoying their percieved "status" . . . their a joke!

Wear your DF like a badge of honour . . . compared to them, that's what it is . . . as for me . . . I'm jealous.
